Oh my God, I hate fucking liberals like you who have NO idea what the FUCK you are talking about. Do some fucking research faggot, and stop being force fed by the liberal biased media, watch the Fox News Channel or something. You need to get BOTH sides of a story...
You can't honestly say that you trust Bush as a leader. The man's an impulsive egomaniac. No one in the history of warfare has had the audacity to ask where someone's military instillations are when they've made it perfectly clear that they're going to attack them no matter what. He's using Iraq as a diversionary tactic, he wants to avoid the real problems in America, which at the moment would be the huge economic disaster in the making. the "war on terrorism" has become "lets bully the rest of the world".

You should be proud that you had a president that actually had the balls(no oun intended) to admit he smoked weed, (Virtually everyone thru the University, iuf not perticipating has at least been exposed to it. And should be able to formulate a better opinion as ssuch) AND to get his knob sucked whilst having his finger on the button .. (Again no pun intended) More power to him, he had a grip on the real life. So measured his responses a littl more accordingly., This Bush chappy, he is a little frazzled tho.. probably all that cocke stuck up his nose made him a bit paraComment

No, really now, there is really no excuse or what he's doing, and expecially no excuse for how hes going about doing it. With the economy in the shape that it's in shouldn't he be worrying about that instead of non-existant threats in Iraq. Saddam more than likely has no nukes, and no way to launch the chemical and biological weapons that might have survived the last round of bombs. He didn't make the ones he had alone last time, he basically got them from the US, some assembly required. The government knew he was going to use them, they were just reasonably sure they were going to be used against Iran and not Kuwait.Comment

I`m not for an attack on Iraq just yet, not because I`m an hypocritical liberal anti-Bush, anti-American homophobe, but because at this present time it is not feasible or justified to do so. Bush is making the same mistake that Hitler did in WW2 - fighting a war on too many fronts. During the Gulf War the Allies were committed on one front in one theatre of war and so could commit everything 100%. Even then they couldn`t have prevailed had it not been for other Allied countries. However big the US military is, Afghanistan is still tying down large numbers of US troops. An invasion of Iraq would require a mammoth force. Iraq does have links with Al Qaeda. If US forces were struggling in Iraq, it would be quite possible that Al Qaeda could be used to start a situation in Afghanistan when the majority of US troops leave there to reinforce those in Iraq.
The biggest mistake Bush made was to announce that his next target was Iraq. He has committed himself to it - he can`t back down or appear to be weak. He should have kept quiet and used intelligence sources to assemble a concrete dossier of evidence before making any statements. Direct action on the weapons sites could then have been accomplished via local Kurdish guerillas trained and directed by US Special Forces. The Iraqi regime is so paranoid and unstable that is wide open to psychological and covert operations which if used right could bring down the regime. In the Kurds the US has a large willing guerilla force to carry out action, and in the Iraqi National Council they have a democratic people`s government ready to take power.
"Saddam more than likely has no nukes, and no way to launch the chemical and biological weapons that might have survived the last round of bombs."
He probably doesn`t yet have any nuclear weapons, but he has attempted to buy uranium in Africa. He also has many Al Hussein and
Al Abbas Scud derivatives left - they were displayed at an Iraq military parade last year and pictured on the news!! These missiles are Scuds that have been upgraded and have longer range and greater accuracy and potency. They are also nuclear and biological capable. According to a defecting former high ranking Iraqi Army officer, Saddam has constructed many underground laboratories and sites, including a research facility under the huge Saddam Hussein hospital in Baghdad.
"He didn't make the ones he had alone last time, he basically got them from the US"
Wrong - very wrong. In the past Saddam sent many young Iraqi students abroad to study advanced biological technologies at foreign universities. Do a web search on Dr Rihab Taha, who is chief of Iraq`s biological warfare program. Educated in the UK, she made an extraordinary confession at a press conference on July 1st, 1995 when she broke down and announced that Iraq had produced by itself a horde of germs for biological warfare. She also announced that a factory at Al Hakam had produced thousands of gallons of deadly anthrax and botulinum toxin - enough, in theory, to wipe out whole cities and even nations. The bulk of Iraq`s foreign-purchased biological weapons have come from the Soviet Union, with North Korea and China helping out.
The Soviets have been the primary supplier of weapons and training to Iraq - not the US. Why do you think you see Iraqi forces carrying AKs and using T55/72 tanks and MIG aircraft? Why do Iraqi forces follow Soviet doctrine and organisation? And why do you think the Russians spring to Iraq`s defence whenever the US makes any threats?
Like I said before, I am not for an attack on Iraq - just yet. It would be a very naive and gullible person who believes that Saddam is not a threat and is innocent. However it would be a very foolish person who charges in and shoots up the place with no clear defined targets or objectives.Comment

Not to mention all of the biological and chemical materials that he got from Reagan during the Iran/Iraq war. He got so much help from the US in that one that it wasn't even fair, but the instant he did something they hadn't planned on he was suddenly Saddam "the dark lord of satan's army" Hussein. Before he went after Kuwait he used gas and all that other good stuff against Iran. Saddam got satellite surveilance[some of it altered to make it look like Iraq stood more of a chance in the coming battle], as well as seven different strains of anthrax over the course of ten years[1978-1988] from America. Even when gas[of both, the nerve and mustard kind] was used against the Kurds, the Reagan administration tried to blame Iran. Saddam's always been a monster, but before Kuwait he was America's pet monster.
The gas Hussein used on the Kurds was what they had bought from America....
The best solution I can think of is for Amrica to stop making monsters that it's going to have to deal with 10 years down the road.Comment

Yes, the Iraqi's got some of their weapons from us. They got most of their weapons from the Soviet Union. Back then, it was Iran vs Iraq. Iran was a fundamentalist state that hated everybody that wasn't Shiite Muslim, while Iraq appeared to have a resonable leader...then we find out he's gassing his own people, so we cut him off.
Valshino, why do you comment on the US economy if you live in the UK?Comment

Alas I never chose to pursue the path of the political scientist, but I'd hate for four years of University to be waived in favour of two years of postgrad Law school. I love the differences between our nations. Althoguh I seem critical, it is really to obtain responses in order to further my knowledge of you.
