Art of War Central is no longer providing HLTV service for CAL-I matches, according to the CAL site. Four separate companies have offered to take the challenge, after AoWC left "due to a lack of public support from gamers." The four companies that will now help with HLTV are Fragilicious, Game Daemons, SPEAKEASY, and Xtreme Gaming Servers. (Both Art of War Central and Xtreme Gaming Servers sponsor CS-Nation.)

My guess is four companies will split the work with providing bandwidth, and the four companies will be Fragilicious, Game Daemons, SPEAKEASY, and Xtreme Gaming Servers. Oh wait that's not a guess, it's a fact.
my guess is on speakeasy to be the new provider btwComment

I rented a CS server from AoWC about 5 months ago that was located in the San Jose datacenter. All our members were West Coast, USA members, and we all lagged considerably on the server. I would contact AoWC and they would tell me to have people do trace routes or some other nonsense. You think they would figure it out that when almost everyone on a 16 player server on a so called OC-48 connection is lagging that they have some type of issues.
It's totally obvious that they put way too many servers on the same connection on the same machine. And the steep price I was paying of $128/mo was not worth it. I can see why people are pissed off about the HLTV, because frankly the service was not that good.
I now rent a public server from Nuclear Fallout, a Seattle based company, and the ping is so much better. Their support staff is also very good and actually fixes problems before they are reported.Comment

For east coast servers i suggest you check out www.gaminghost.com literally half the price of AoWC $4 dollars a player public. AoWC blows now HLTV and CAL will be worth watchingComment

Paladin I hate to tell you but your servers are almost as bad as AOW's are. I've played several scrimmages and matches on servers you host and well they are lagolious. We had a server hard crash in the middle of a CAL match so before you guys start slamming AoW you should get your act together.Comment
