Been really busy recently with work, so here is a small update on things. New inferno and aztec are with valve, updates a plenty in 1.6 what with all the cool new guns etc.



I've recently bought (yes bought, for those of you unfamiliar with the term ``buying'' it doesn't involve kazaa or an FTP) a couple of shweet games to while away the winter hours. I got Mafia and Battlefield 1942, but the star of the show is really hitman 2. This is the best game in the history of all stealth shooters. I can pretend to be the professional and sneak around strangling russian generals and get to dress up in dead people clothes. Horay!

It's a really easy game if you just shoot through it, but me and my pal puffycloud are playing to get Silent Assassin on every level (use 2 bullets or less, only kill the targets and no alarms tripped). So far it's cool, the first 7 missions as silent assassin and those Japanese castle levels are a complete pain in the ass. Thankfully you're rewarded with a secret gun when you complete a mission as SA (well not EVERY time but it's incentive enough).



A lot of fun for the [H]C hitman fans.

yeah i got alot of pc games lately. Hitman 2, battle field 1942, No One Lives Forever 2, SOF2,Medal of Honor Allied Assault,UT2K3.

I beat mafia, that was a niceee game. Mafia is one of my favorite.

Hitman 2 is sweet I beat it on easy now going through on the hardest diffuclity which means NO SAVING GAME! Mafia is a pretty cool game beat most of it still gotta finish it. GL on your mission to be silent assiasian on all levels.

I played a demo for Hitman 2 and wasn't really impressed. Of course a demo doesn't mean anything but when it concerns me not liking the gameplay I doubt it will change. Any chance of you getting UT2K3 Narby?

I feel sorry for you, how could you possibly make it through without being able to save? Oh wait... you couldn't save at all, even on easiest difficulty, in the original Hitman: Codename 47. Dang there were some frustrating moments as a result of that, heh.



I was kind of glad, though, because if I have saving available to me, I tend to abuse it, reloading at the previous save point every time I do things less than perfectly. Don't know why, it's a bad habit, and makes games less enjoyable, really.



Anyway, the original Hitman was awesome despite its flaws, so now Hitman 2 is the only game on my "to get" list besides CS:CZ. That's the "to get as soon as I get more money" list, heh. :)



Kind of funny how people claim gamers all play FPS games to get the most violence and blood they can find and such... yet a game where you can avoid killing everyone but your target is so much more fun than mindlessly blowing away hoardes of weak enemies.
