Metal Gear Solid Pak

[StDn]KidSparkle, creator of the [StDn] Pak, has created a pack that all of you Metal Gear Solid fans will love. The pack is named [MGS: Metal Gear Solid] Pak, and it has not only a slew of real MGS sounds, models, guns, and the rest, but it also replaces many map textures in order to give you that authentic MGS feel. This pack is is rizzuh's dream, apparently.



The Pak totals about 87MB, but has been split into two to make downloading easier. Get it here.

It's called the Metal Gear Solid pak, yet no FA MAS, AKs74u, Solid Snake, or anything even pertaining to MGS.

yeah not to be overly critical but this has nothing to do with metal gear whatsoever, at least as far as i can tell

I heard that you can't alter map textures, or you would be booted from a server for file inconsistency...



I really want to get this pack ONLY for the map textures but is that allowed?

omfg, the pistols actually do look a lot like mgs, i was just playing it 2 seconds agi, but he glock and everything else in the pak is just stuf with extra crap on it



not to mention the colt in mgs looks exactly like the default model in cs, but they included one with all kinds of scopes and shit

you know what'd be nice. if all models had the same color arms/hands/gloves. pretty gay switching guns and seeing your hands (and gloves esp.) turn diff colors every time...call me picky

Actually, the MGS pack IS a different link, but the links to the screen shots on both the MGS pack and the other pack are exactly the same...



Maybe someone should d/l this pack and examine it?

Holy fucking shit this sucks. It makes no sense and shouldnt he have solid snake as a model? This person obviously put almost no time nor effort into this. If i were you I would get the mr LOL skinpack, at least there they have models with more than 15 pixels. Hell the bender skinpack looks more like MGS than this Low pixel idiot mod

OK listen up folks!



There is ERROR in the preview page. If you download the mgs pack, you will see mgs guns, sounds, and what not. The author of this pack made a preview mistake showing previews of the wrong pack.



Download this and give it a try, I found it to be very good. Though I don't recommend the custom textures (pack b).

I'd download it if it had anything to do with MGS.

Ofcourse it doesint, I was looking through the preview of the pack.

If I remember correctly, none of that has anything to do with MGS?

So it has something to do with MGS. :P

The map retextures are pretty good although not the best.

As for models, I'm going to be using just the player models

as for the pack, heres some of the skins that shout out to me as being nothing but really BAD re-skins.



the glock, the back section of it is just the standard glock, so its only a half re-skin, and the front half he did re-skin is terrible



the mismatching USP socoms LOL , why bother



the USP match as the Fiveseven ? lol thats one of the worst matches ive ever seen



the mac10, some1s re-skinned the standard one black and put an oversized silencer on it, horrible !



the scope on the sig552, omg how oversized ?



that grenade launcher , how terrible ?



really where does this guy get his skins ? the re-ject bin where they put the raggy dolls (UK joke :o)



oh and explain why its called the MGS back again ?
