s0ph, being the nice guy that he is, has written a CAL-i season 6 wrap-up, complete with a large postseason preview and a look at all the teams who have a chance for the finals.
This has been the most stable season of CAL-Invite's history. CAL made a smart move by forcing reformed CAL-i clans through CAL-Main and sometimes even as low as CAL-Open. Only a total of 2 clans died this season, while last season there were some 10-15 dead clans at the end, 20 if you count all the move ups that died. Part of it is due to CAL's HLTV schedule, which has been great, even though some of their HLTV's felt as if they were hosted on 56k in the back of Wal-Mart. With the implementation of HLTV in almost every match, why would any clan want to die?Fear not, this is only the slimey introduction: the real statistical and team analysis begins later. Check it out if you care about esports. If you don't care about esports, go hang out behind the liquor store until the mailbag is posted.
