oh no, what if we all find out about the riot shield's flaws? like getting shot when you pull out your five-seven, or getting knifed in the back cuz you didn't hear the footsteps....then the shield would be inferior like the UMP and the dual elites.....

People tend to prefer to charge in, I don't think we'll see the shield used too often.

Some people seem to forget that the shield takes up the primary slot and comes only with a 5-7. I doubt that 90% of the CT's will use the shield if the only weapon they can have with it is that pistol. The shield won't do much good for the individual player if they can't kill their opponents effeciently and consistently.



I suspect the shield will be used only by people that don't care about their frag count and are teamplay oriented, unlike a current majority of pub CT players that can't live without their Colt...

My only problem with the shield is when the player puts it away it disapears. I can almost believe that the player can carry an AWP hidden away in some pocket or up his jumper but not a big arsed shield.

LOL i Dont post here often but ive been here for a while and i guess it just makes me mad .

Although i hat whats happenin to cs atm i still love it and i think i always will and when i try and defend it ,[although not too friendly] i mean well.

ok all i wanna know is this... if the shield stops rifle fire, how many people does it take to create a moving invincible box, with the bomber in the center. they all just crawl to bomsite and plant then sit there. that would be SOOOOO COOOL. plus have some people on the inside looking up so that people cant jump on top. omg cs is so fun

well there will be a hitbox area.

1 in the middle completerly covered. [till stand]

and 2 either side,of whom shoulders and maybe head can be hit quite easily coz of the hitbox.

nd 1 behind them, but there will be,because of physics only enough for 3 ppl/plrs to hide behind the shield.

supporting ct helpers will i suspect be vulnerable to headshots.

Also i think round based play is retarded. Everyone says OGL is so newbie (and they are right), but timed halves are great. It means you can get your momentum back after a crushing first half or whatever, and the game isn't over until it's over. Currently with CAL rules lets say you lose first half 0-12, then second half you lose 1 round, but start coming back winning every round after that, too fucking bad 13-11 you lose. If it was time based and you really pushed yourself you could come back. None of this "the match is mathematically over" crap.

Yea camping would be a concern. Win a round then hold off in a defensive spawn position for the rest of the match. I guess it can't be perfect with counter-strike.

Coz i disagree with ppl on here and i post some things then contradict whilst thinking and posting, im sorry, i dont refresh every 5 mins, i say wat i think and i carry it on, if i contradict myself i admit it, i still stand by wat i say.
