Only one real neg comment here, how nice. Im very very excited, and will be glad to know there arent cheaters on the server!!! I am waiting for the teargas really.. like in the bmx mod. It adds a light mobile defence barrier element tot he game and I lvoe it. Only problem is i only find it on UKLAGNET servers (UK2.net).. Ah well, I can hope

CS has been out too long to make changes like these. Adding 2 guns that are supposedly better than the 2 best guns in the game. Adding the invincibility shield. Valve should concentrate on fixing bugs rather than messing up the game.



Oh, and here's why I think the riot shield is bad -

5v5 on prodigy

1 CT with a shield inside button door

2 CTs with shields at top of spawn

2 CTs with shields in the box hall

...if the 5 Ts don't have at least 3 nades between them, they can't do anything except for maybe boosting over the CTs (which is VERY REALISTIC).

No cal and the cpl wont probably ban the shield, when you shoot the "5-7" the shield moves to the side so therefor it will be a easy kill if your quick enough. They can get sniped while shooting the 5-7 or just die from a m4. Cal and the cpl would probably only ban it if you can shoot the gun with the shield covering you fully.

Most CTs load up on nades and such so they have no more money then Ts in the end. If you lose pistol round, you're pretty much fucked for the first 3 rounds yes.



Also i think round based play is retarded. Everyone says OGL is so newbie (and they are right), but timed halves are great. It means you can get your momentum back after a crushing first half or whatever, and the game isn't over until it's over. Currently with CAL rules lets say you lose first half 0-12, then second half you lose 1 round, but start coming back winning every round after that, too fucking bad 13-11 you lose. If it was time based and you really pushed yourself you could come back. None of this "the match is mathematically over" crap.

A single player cs/tony hawk based game with set obgectves, nice idea but they forgot 1 thing...

I see that as the major set back in the development of both cs:CLOL

and it eventual merge into cs



The Reason for this bitch is that there are cheats on every server i go on latelly and thats not much nowadays.

The cheats are far more worse than they were in 1.3.

this shield thing seems like its going to do some damage to the playablity of cs. I honstly think that if valve keeps adding things to the game cs is ether going to die or somthing else. Im a fan of cs and i dont want cs to die for a long time, but i cant imagen me playing with as a t when 90% of the ct's are camping with shields. And for the new guns, well i cant say much about them, i havnt seen a new weapon for a while and im kinda excited to see them. The only great thing i can think of that valve is doing is adding the tracker to cs.

TBH I trust Valve enough to not completely feck up the balance too much, and there will be ways around a team facing shield wearers. It does still slow you down, takes away a lot of periferal vision, and you can only use secondaries with it (which means. for all but the uber leet Deagle only clans, that your killing power will be severely reduced). As some have pointed out, it will completely change a lot of tactics on some maps, prodigy for example. But the reason that Half life is still being played over 4 years on is because it has never gotten stale. I am worried about the introduction of the new kit, but at the same time applaud Valve for taking a few chances once in a while...

the thing is that i back up my cs talk with action, thats why i defend it so much and i wanna speak my opinion.



IF you in ever way, Shape OR form think that you are superior in the knowlege of CS than me, then say so, but words are nothing to me, if you ,like i do play cs and are not just a fanboy[which i really think you are] then you would have
