CAL-i moveups...and downs

CAL has just released a list of teams moved down from invite and moved up.

The decisions regarding teams moving up and down have been decided. Good luck in Main to the following "movedowns": Steelbreeze, Legendz, Short Yellow Bus and The Unknown Factor. Good luck trying to re-obtain an invite next season.



Good luck to those teams who are invited to play in the next season: Ascension, Green Berets, Hicks With Sticks, I Lan Gamers, Eternal Silence, Shockwave, and High-Tech performance.

Sad to see old-timers like Steelbreeze and TuF move down, but I suppose it's for the best. The team missing from the moveup imo is strong team h, chikara; They've made it deep in the playoffs of CAL-main several times already.

i don't think SB should be moved down to m at all. SB has been in cal-i for what, 4, 5 seasons. sure, they had roster problems and thus forfeited some of their matches. they've done well every season except this one.

Some of the criteria used will be not only performance but also stability within CAL Invite and Main over the past several seasons. There may be teams that may have had one poor season remain in this division while newer teams with unstable rosters may be sent back down to the Main division for evaluation.

that completely contradicts the decision made by CAL.

sb has pretty much an entirely new roster; so do several of the other invites, and imo they should be dropped.

F^ does need to move up. I've watched a few lan games where they took 3D and such and faired very well. I've also played with these guys on a few servers and they are very skillful, not that pubbing is all that tough sometimes but it was on a relatively good server. Frank should have moved teams up that deserved to move up and moved down the appropriate teams. SB did need to move down mostly because they haven't played well and their roster is almost all new.
