    I'm on the phobe.

I decided to pick up some games I've been wanting to play for a while but never had the time to play, namely Return to castle wolfenstien and MOHAA. After waiting 3 weeks for amazon to deliver, my shiny cellophane dvd boxed entertainment arrived and 2 days later i've completed both, which sucks a little I guess, but there's always the mp to have a go at.

RTCW is fucking cool. I'm a sucker for WW2 (hence buying two ww2 games) and the added sci-fi/secret military base plot really struck a chord. I recall seeing it ages ago at Quakecon 2000 and thinking just how amazing it looked, but it seemed a little dated when I played it -

shows how much time flies. It's still a kick ass game, awesome level design throughout.

MOHAA has some issues, those asshole dogs can take sherman to the face before going down and I hate being sniped without knowing roughly where the shot came from. On the plus side, the omaha beach level is probably my most favorite ww2 map in any video game, I cranked my speakers up nice an loud.

I'm gonna be announcing something here soon, map related, so watch this space.

I hated RTCW single player. The multiplayer was the best thing since sliced bread as most people know. Then again they released the best map for the multiplayer test(beach) which is like releasing dust2 for a CS demo. I stopped playing it though because unless you're trying to get better at a game after you've played it a certain amount doing the same thing loses its novelty. At first you're like, "Wow defending is so fun and so much variety!" then after that you're like, "Wow there has never been a greater moment in online gaming then those first few document captures!". Then it becomes, "Wow, everyone really sucks!". I should install it though, I bet alot of servers are really good and I was just playing on bad ones. It really was alot of fun. I loved that game. Besides, I've played so much Counter-Strike I feel like every multiplayer game must look horrible.

I like chess but you don't see me bringing it up when discussing action games.

Sending to one person isn't "distributing to the world" sir.

                  go sci fi!

yah i do agree, the omaha level was pretty darn good. i didnt like the whole "give the guys cover fire" thing but it was still extremely realistic. the SP was pretty short, my little brother beat it in 2 days. maybe he just has no life i dunno.

to show my lack of console playing, i still suck with useing two joysticks to walk and look around. im still best with the Turok controls for n64
