It seems like i'm aiming to get 2 birds with 1 stone in this post, but i'm not. I'm more than a little curious as to why the price for Nationalist actually needed to be lowered.

It sounds like MikeJ might be saying the majority opinion, so I'll go along with whatever they all say.



Nationalist status not only comes with nifty avatars and custom titles you can put links in, but also less ads (no full page ads ever) and a fuller, more happy CSN experience.



And if you don't care about any of that, well, nobody's forcing you. It's nice to show support for CSN though, since it's the best CS site on the net, period.

I wasn't really slamming the whole Nationalist deal. That's why i put that 2nd paragraph there. I was instead poking fun at shitty avatar pics. Like yours.



What full-page ads?

They show up every once in a while. I just mash the big(ger) thumb button on my mouse and they go away before it finishes drawing the words for "Continu.." (Like I said, it never finishes so I don't know what it says).



Luckily I no longer will have to exercise that button since I paid a whole dollar and fifty cents to buy a custom avatar. That I will most likely eschew, since my graphical skills are right there on the shelf below zero.

I can't think of any reason why somebody should do this for me, but I'd really like to be a Nationalist! My "credit card" doesn't allow international payments... so if anyone feels like doing a favour to a guy he/she doesn't even know, you're welcome to upgrade my csn account! In return, I guarantee a "thank you"-note with YOUR nick inside or under my avatar for at least one month... and if you ever want to upgrade your account at some german cs-site (lol), I'll be glad to help you.
