And for tonight's show...
- dark [po] has informed us of a counter-strike aim expression. the popular chat client aim has the site aim expressions which has various skins for the chat window. you can download the counter-strike skin here.
- rk^b0j4ngl3s has designed a movie tutorial for anyone thinking about making a movie.
i just thought this might help some of those good counter-strike players show the world their crazy skills. i also hope to be releasing my movie soon, i am expecting it to be about the same length as frag or die with similar (heh, hopefully almost similar) crazy shots.
good luck on your movie adam.
update: he's uploaded the tutorial to a new host. the link should now work fine.
- since everyone loved the map last night, here's another one.
the map takes place at a dock on a dark, stormy night. terrorists are trying to stop a cargo shipment by either destroying the cargo itself or the ship that is to transport it. the environment emphasizes darkness (in lue of the name) but also has enough light to get to the target areas without aid... however, night vision goggles will definately help and expand potential movement area. on the contrary, it is scary as nut (not to mention fun) to run around in the real dark areas (like the coal yard) and wait until the random lightening flashes reveal your environment... it just might reveal an enemy for a split second or two > - always makes me jump, hehe.
de_dark is available for download from fileplanet or his personal site.[break="clicky for some shots"]
