The comments system was not designed for companies to duke it out. Of course you can use it to do so, but it's obviously not respectful of a company that supports the site you are posting on. Whether or not you think this is professional is your opinion, but I believe the most professional option would have been to stay away from the topic entirely as you clearly have a motivating interest in doing otherwise.
There's no reason to lock the topics. Many people have valid opinions on the subject and can even relay their experiences with this or other companies. However, you and Paladin posted as companies, not as people. I was merely giving advice. You can ignore it if you'd like.
