Sebastian over at CS Central, in the Christmas spirit, has put up a review of Logitech's high-end MX700 mouse.
I think the reason why most people do not buy cordless mice is that they have to buy new batteries every month or so. That was the past though because the MX700 comes with a rapid charger in which you can place your mouse over night and it is ready to go the next day. It doesn't need a full night to recharge though, two hours and you are ready to go. It is also not necessary to do that every day, once or twice a week is enough. As mentioned in the review, this mouse would no doubt be an excellent Christmas gift for that special someone in the household that you enjoy killing in CS. The mouse has a LED which shows you the battery level (green= fully loaded; flashing green= batteries are recharging; red= empty) and Windows will also notify you once the battery level is low. The mouse is of course a little heavier than wired ones because it has two batteries in it but I did not find that distracting from my gaming or normal working experience in Windows, you will get used to it very fast.
