    Post-CPL I'views

gotFrag has posted some new Q&A's by KryptoN recently. First of all, he's interviewed Kane and Rambo from the CPL champion Team 3D (story). Here's my favorite question:
esu|KryptoN: How did it feel to beat SK? Considering they are possibly the best clan in the world.

[3D]-kane: Good I suppose, moto, myself and the rest of TSO nearly beat them at the summer event and they had a more prepared team then in my opinion.

    [3D]-Rambo: ooo it felt goood

[3D]-Rambo: especially the match being on nuke

[3D]-Rambo: it was very gratifying :P

    [3D]-Rambo: and was a gg
    Check it out here.

The other feature KryptoN did was a cool little doozie called "Learn From The Best". In it, various esports figures give opinions on how to improve your CS game. Since clearly the e-mail gotFrag sent to me was lost, I think a good way to improve your game is to use a low sensitivity and to use teamplay/voice comm to your advantage.

i think a way to get good team wise is to not play too many public servers. it instills too many bad habits. i cant tell you how many people i know on my servers that are really good public fraggers but cant hold their own at all in a scrim/match.

if its just your goal to be numero uno public fragger, then well, learn how to use an awp, camp really hard, and throw lots of smoke grenades to lag everyone out, and tell them you have l337 skills.

CS-N used to pump out the funny at a weekly rate. Lately, all I've been seeing is gF stuff, which is usually not the funny, but still worthwhile. Now, I can't complain as it's not like I've been trying to send in articles and such, but for 2003, make a comeback ;D

If the site keeps at this slow rate, maybe I will send in my application =D

      ....Don't count on it, buddy.

You have to point out your sarcasm? Sad. Rizzuh's comment was a joke... and you try to bash it as if he was serious. Ugh. Not like you'd know how rizzuh plays, or how much of a M4 whore he is.

I thought it was funny anyway...

Ah well, the interviews. Sometimes entertaining, sometimes just something to kill the time with. I think the TEC interview with Zeus and... whoever the heck the other guy was that was interviewed was better, out of a strictly humorous perspective. Regardless, gotFrag is a great site for eSports stuff, so go for it if you love dwelling on the words of average joes with good reaction times. :)

One more thought on the interview... were they interviewed seperately or something? It's written to make it look like it was all together, but with as much repetition of things as there was (Kane's responses with proper spelling and such, but Rambo... heh), it seemed like maybe they were interviewed seperately. I guess I expect more playing off of one another typically in an interactive interview together.

What has this got to do with the interview? Anyway, $30,000 split 6 ways isn't really that great a prize for cpl winners.

5,000 dollars for just playing a video game? cmon man... thats more than any of us will ever get out of playing this game. the fact that there's prize money involved at all is absurd.
