Pneumo sent in word about his name WONID lookup tool. He compiled all the WONID's from the Cyberathlete Amateur League's divisions (CAL-I, CAL-M, CAL-Draft, CAL-IM, CAL-O) and slapped them into a search-able database. This should be useful for the server admin who thinks a "cheater" is on his server or one who doesn't like fake nicknames. If you ask me, though, "asdf" is just a popular nickname among those who are amazing at Counter-Strike.

Um, first of all a noncal list of players searchable by wonid is impossible, impossbile, and kind of impossible.

That's a WONID, you chucklefuck, not my CD-Key. There's also no way to ascertain someone's key from their WON. Nor is that even my, or to my knowledge a valid, WON.Comment

rofl @ this thread. Anyway yea you could extract the cd key out of a WONID, you would just need the correct formula. Basically reversing what ever kind of hashing they do to compute a WONID out of the key.Comment

Unless of course there is no formula ... WONids are given out by the order the key is entered into the WON database. No formulas. That is why older players will have low, 4 digit WONids and people that just ran out and got retail have 7 digit WONids.
