    Joe's Strategy Guide

Joe has compiled a strategy guide for the beginner to intermediate level players. Even though I have been playing Counter-Strike for ages, I still learned a few things. For instance, I had absolutely no clue that the left click knife goes that much further! Anyway, it is a good read for everyone. I wish the entire community brush up on the Attitude while playing section. Keep it up Joe!

Be sure to check out our own CS guide and strategy section.

That was a cool guide. Although I didn't learn anything I'm glad that there's a cool newbie guide out there that has the right advice. Good job, joe.

Yeah that was new to me as well. I've read the CS report before but I must have forgotten it. I don't use the knife much anyway, and when I do they're close enough to use the stab mode. Yay.

I'm a noob with most weapons, especially the knife.

"if you see a teammate under fire, DO NOT wait for him to die before you jump out to finish off the reloading and weakened enemy"

Too bad just about everyone does that

                    Great guide.

                    "3a. radar

the radar will turn itself off sometimes. the only way to fix is it to wait (it may come back in after 5 mins), or restart CS. the drawradar command will not fix it."

                    I was right damnit +D

If this helps just a few people, it'll be worth it. Of course, it'd be lovely if it helped about ten thousand people, but hey.

                      A couple comments:

-ladders. To be completely silent, just don't look mostly up or mostly down. Look either up or down at a very slight angle. You'll move slowly and make no sound at all.

-3b. It also seems to go away whenever the players make a movement that changes their z-coordinates, like jumping or moving onto a ramp. Not certain, it just seems that way.

-4a. Brought a tear to my eye. Actually the whole attitude section did. I love you.

Okay, there it is. The obligatory sumerblue mention. In fact, now that it has been mentioned (even though it has precious little to do with this guide), how about if no one else mentions it to avoid being redundant?

                            good read.

I remember the Summer Blue. Gosh it must have been around 6 months since I've read that. The bit on the models was really good. Very imformative.
