    Counter-Strike Tools

GokouZWAR is a developed coder for Tribes 2, but due to lack of support from the community he's crossing over to Counter-Strike realm. He's focusing on developing a compilation of programs that will help all CS players, not just those with high latency issues, to run and customize their servers. Just to wet you pallet:
    • complete customization of all cvars and options in counter-strike for servers and client servers

    • random map rotation generator (based on map types)

    • menu creators for mod makers and others

    • bot waypoint search program (this one basically tells you which bots you have installed and which maps are waypointed or supported, etc)
Though this is a shortened list, he is trying to get community feedback. He doesn't currently have a website to CS Tools, but you can visit his Hexdot site. Any questions should be directed to GokouZWAR. He's looking for someone to help with web design to get a site up, and welcomes anyone with Visual Basic 6 experience. Everyone should check out the site, and drop and e-mail if there are any questions. With active support, he hopes to expand to different HL mods.

Tribes 2 is a really fun game now when they have fixed the bugs and people have big enough computers to play it.

                  Best review ever.

What we have here is a nice ol' Mac10 that is basically as good as it gets as far as Mac10 replacements go. The modelling is alright but nothing better then what we've not seen before. The skin is okay, a little bit dark though. There's also some very slight texture misalignment in one or two odd places, but you barely notice it. The skin has an odd tint to it which annoys me (stop skinning guns with tints please, it makes them look sucky), but it's not too strong so it's no biggie.

I think the animations are the defaults, only edited slightly. Either way, it's still holding the Mac by that damn stupid strap-handle at the front. Someone really needs to make some good Mac10 animations that don't include that damn handle.

Overall pretty good, with one or two minor flaws. Still, just as good as any other Mac10 replacement out there.

Well, I can't really judge a gun on its color and skin because every computer has different settings and it could be the users fault for the model not looking its best. But I do love the fact the bars in the back are rounded cause most can't figure out how they should do that.

                    - And well you really wont find CS and a mac10 ever being realistic, so you can't complain there. The Mac10 isn't held out away from your body like its sown in the game. Anyone that knows what I am talking about would understand that within the first 5 to 8 shots the gun would be out of the users hands.

Another thing everyone makeing there models should know is that shell ejection on guns is NEVER pointed towards the face. Thats like reloading the gun with the barrel faceing you, there could be chamber fire and you would lose your head. Because really, who wants hot shells nailing you in the face... and yes shells go everywere on real guns they don't come out in strait lines perfectly falling to the floor and bounceing around for 2 or 3 seconds with a ting.

I like this but it'd look better with a greyer skin.

I see some texture slippage on the edge of the uppers...

maybe its just me... Even though its still a super replacement.

Error on the animations, the holding of the strap handle is moving.By right its not supposed to moved at all or should move a bit. This is a cool Mac 10 to use anyway.
