Hostage Situation

Italian movie maker spa has made his own Militia 2 style movie called Hostage Situation. While this one doesn't include any dialogue, it shows 3 CT's doing a pretty realistic job of taking over a building full of unsuspecting terrorists on 3dPunk's map de_tegea. It's short and sweet, only 2:26 and 40MB, but I'd say it's worth the download. Get Hostage Situation here (or here, FilePlanet mirror).

The movies not bad, it's kind of like those "teamwork movies" we've all been crying out for, except its scripted. Pretty cool, although I wouldn't call it "Militia 2 style." It would've been much more realistic if they had their silencers on, though. Just download it. It's a good waste of 2 minutes.

yeah the movie was good, im not a fan of loud angst music though. the end credits were my favorite parts. sinatra~!~!~!

Terrorists have taken of the TEAGA building, and it is up to three swat members to take control and rescue the VIP, though on the real map, it's diffusion. The concept is good, and the camera is essentialy someone in spec mode, but thankfully the hud isn't showing. There are no spoken dialogs, only heavy metal rock. One thing I found odd, was a large amount of people being involved with the project. The movie is by no means, a militia 2 "killer", and the overal quality of the movie is decent. 6/10



Pros - Good soundtrack

- No hud showing

- Competent Direction

- Good Sinatra music ;P



Cons - SWAT infiltrations are LARGER!!!

- Extremely short

- No apparent storyline, essentially a directed frag movie



Hopefully for their next project, they decide to include a storyline, and dialog.

It was a good movie. Comparing it to Militia is like comparing me to fatal1ty skillz-wise. They're just two different things. Nonetheless, a good movie.

The movie: it was all right. The song sucked. It was more realistic than militia2. I really liked how they didn't have a crosshair in first person. 6/10.
