The problem with the screenshots is that there taken while stood out in the open where your really vulnerable. Cover is very important when sniping but that wasn't pointed out the article.

Just type in console "cl_drawradar 1" and it will magically appear on next round!



P.S. It doesn't work ALL THE TIME but it surely works 9 times out of 10.

If by surely you mean rarely. Radar usually only vanishes when you retry. Unless you're somehow addicted to retrying it shouldn't be a problem. Sometimes it will show up later and sometimes it won't(I type drawradar but feh, doesn't usually work).

"Drawradar" almost never works when you get that bug. By that I mean I have never seen it work.

Yeah, that stupid "drawradar" command has never worked for me either. I usually type "reconnect" in console to rejoin the game so I have radar.

Reconnect - you connect to the server again without losing your current spot, so you can't have someone take your place when reconnecting.



Retry - connecting to the server again, but leaves your spot open for someone else to take if they connect before you connect again.

You know guys, we're not acting like we're the bible or anything. We can only report the sniper spots that exist, and if you've been playing for a while you're going to know about them already.



Strategies are always called "newbie" by people in the comments. You know, that pretty much is the point. If you think you're a great CS player you're not going to take the strategies seriously. On the other hand, strategies consistently bring us visitors. Are they newbies? I really don't care, our array of strategies (and not just the sniper's nest) can significantly improve someone's understanding of the map and game. So hopefully they won't be such a newbie (edit: after they read the strategies).



We basically we can do three things:

- stop posting content and lose many visitors

- modify the maps/game to create new sniping positions/tactics/easter eggs/whatever our visitors want

- continue posting content and understand that (edit) some people may not care about a certain day's content, or even apprecaite it



But feel free to continue to voice your opinions.

These are tips, not playing guides that say you have to play THiS way or that way. Quit complaining. I like these guides, helps me camp and assault better.

No offense, but this should be called Camper's Nest because many of the spots are better for just plain camping than sniping. My two cents... *takes back a penny*
