CAL-I Semifinals

Most of you here know me, but what you probably didn't know that I'm CS-Nation's new CAL and CPL reporter. Sublyme and I will be switching off days, these are my first predictions ever. Be nice:[break="Click here for the predictions!"]Well, these are the biggest matches of the season so far, winners move on to the championship. They look like some great matches, featuring what are probably the biggest names in the US, minus DoP. The matches will take place on de_nuke which is one of the favorite clan match maps, should be a good time.



3D -over- GX :: 14-10

However much I love GX, I have to predict that 3D wins this one. They've dominated all season long, tearing apart their opposition. GX really needs to have their stuff together if they want to have a chance. From what I've been hearing there is a chance that this will take place on LAN, which would give 3D even more of an advantage.

RESULT: 3D -over- GX :: 13-11

DEMOS: HLTV POV



rs -over- zEx :: 15-9

rs has been hot, winning the TANGO LAN against big names like TAU and F^ and then beating TAU again last round of the playoffs. I think that rs will retain their momentum, and take the win 15-9.

RESULT: zEx -over- rs :: 19-5

DEMOS: HLTV POV, zEx | sunman's POV, zEx | Dreadassault POV



Well, I came close on my prediction for 3D vs GX, and if you switch the 5 and the 9, then I was right for zEx vs rs. See, I'm good at predictions.

I would be excited about the matches if the CPL didn't drain my enthusiasm about seeing big teams play each other. I mean during CPL I was like, "mTw vs 3D on aztec...feh". In like a month I'll care and then the new season will have started.
