Any time you kill a clanfag it's because that gun has become "nubified," or it was luck. Of course, the same is true with every other CS player, but since all CAL-I members use aliases on servers it's hard to tell.

Yeah no one should actually blame valve... because without those "newbies" that bought the retail version, cs would be dead.



And go back and play that oh so fun beta 5.2 like you all say, and damn.. you will see it REALLY SUCKS !!! and valve actually did a great job.

I think Counter-Strike has become one of the lamest games around. I think that is also why you see a majority of the true old school players inactive. Once the game was sold out to a big company with $$$ in their eyes it was over from there

I remember looking back on the "old days"** with nostalgia and fond memories of feeling something special by playing something for so long and seeing it become successful. I often wondered what it would be like to go back to those days. Then I played Retro CS. And now I can leave nostalgia to my memory and realize that I can't recreate and relive that fondness, cause frankly, old CS betas don't hold a candle to the current CS.

Rizzuh you glock whore, use a real gun like awp that only skilled people can use. It's like aiming at a giant slow moving head, really, how is that not skill? Unless of course you're actually aiming at the small fast moving head with another gun.

rizzuh, money was never the reason for me continuing to play the game. I had fun playing with friends, but never did like the changes made to the game. i played the game to have fun and win. I, like a lot of people, am very competetive. and winning only makes it more fun. But as i said on gamers.nu, being number 1 is the ultimate goal, and if you arent number 1, who are you?

Having to work around all of valves **** up's, re learn the game play, and stupid changes to adapt to, which made the game more newbie friendly makes it less fun. Basically ruining any hope that was left in it for me and many other players.

I didn't mean to insult you. It was merely my opinion and it's based on the statement that you thought CS was lame and what many of your peers think about the games. I've spoken to many CAL-I level clans who do play CS only for the money.



What I said wasn't meant to reflect on you personally. It's meant to reflect on vast majority of the CPL-level CS community. My commentary was about them and not you in specific.
