Sheesh, this sounds like the UT2k3 beta demo that got leaked a while back. Some people seriously just don't respect the fact that someone might want to keep something private until it's done. And really, that's what it's about, letting personal curiousity and greed overcome basic decency and respect for others' things.



Narby, sorry to hear about this. Hopefully people will get tired of this unready version quickly, and it will die out. We're all excited about the final revision, though, as Aztec is a great map. Good luck getting it finished, and thanks for your hard work.



Those of you who have been passing around the unfinished playtest, and gpig20, the ass who spread it... screw you all. Delete the damn thing from your computer, and you'd better not be hosting it on your server. Jerks.

I really feel badly about what has happened with this beta. Again, if I would have known he didn't want others playing it, I wouldn't have put it in our pack. We have helped mappers test out their beta versions for over a year now, and have never had this problem before.



I don't think this will ruin the map in any way, other then eliminating an element of surprise for some of the people who may have played it before its scheduled official release. Im sorry he had to get emails from idiots complaining about the changes, but if any good can come of this, perhaps it will give him ideas on how to finish it up.



If asked, I will take the map out of our pack, seeing as it was only a bonus anyway. I do hope though that people don't hate us and think we were out to ruin the map or anything like that. It was leaked to us, just like it was leaked to all of the other people running it. We just looked @ it how many of the other people did, a great opportunity to get a glance at Narby's latest work.



I hope theres no hard feelings over this, and I apologize for any problems we may have caused.

Sounds like people are getting impatient but hopefully all will be well. I know I would rather wait and not let myself be spoiled by a new map or remix of an older one. I hope the map's going well and I look foward to playing it in 1.6(I think that's when it comes out).

Wow theres a lot of de_aztec_c servers, narby, there the ones playing in a bugged up aztec, some stuff probably dont look right etc, there the ones playing a bugged up map, but me i can wait.
