I'm back for another delightful mailbag full of fun. This week's topic discusses the various camping/sniping spots around the maps. Here is one delightful young man's response to the entire concept of camping.

My favorite strat is to camp spawn on dust with a sniper rifle. That or to wait around a corner while my teammate runs ahead. Then when he dies I run out and kill the weak or reloading enemy.

The biggest flaw with as_ maps is that sniping is far too difficult. It's easier to rush in with an AK and take care of business!

Not really, if the CTs work together. My favorite part about AS maps is that they really force at least one team to work together cohesively as a unit. If not, then they're all screwed.



And sniping is not hard on Oilrig. There's that tower that makes AWP shots easy, and requires minimal movement on your part. Being on the helipad is only a good idea if you have a Scout, because with an AWP you move too slowly. Unfortunately, the Terrorists can't buy the Scout so it's a moot point. I actually do use the AWP, but I'd rather scout.

Gpig's favorite strat is three letters long, and it starts with an 'o'.

Oilrig is my favorite map. The only thing that could improve it would be if when you awp the VIP in the chest you saw blood.
