The esteemed Lanmaniax have announced their first map pack, a pack based on The Lord Of The Rings. The pack contains the maps as_moria, cs_moria2, de_helmsdeep, and de_isengard, which features the ability for marauding terrorists to ride an Ent.

1. The r_speeds on isengard are way too large.

2. Guns should be allowed on helms deep; there are archers, not just people with close-combat weapons.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is the best movie I have ever seen. The books are godd as well.

Helmsdeep looks like it could be an awsome fight with a lot of people. As for the comment about allowing guns, anything with a zoom wouild be whored to death. I spose they could put m4's and ak's in, but then it would turn into a long range shootout instead of close combat like its sposed to be.

Helmsdeep was absolutely fantastic. Exactly like the movie.



Moria (both) and Isengard completly sucked. Isengard was worse than jeepathon, and the morias were too big to be able to do anything.

LoL on Isengard you can plant the Bomb while driving an Ent, then drive away with it!

Helmsdeep was very cool but there should be a variation with knives only (to better represent swords).



I couldnt get the side door open by the gate.



The isengard I guess is good for shits and giggles and the moria ones could be fun if played right.

as_moria lacks any alternate routes why it sucks but it did look fun for a quick run through. Wouldn't swear by it though.
