Counter-Hack Comes Back

Counter-Hack has relaunched with a new site design and new content. Along with the new design, they've also re-launched their GamesNet IRC channel, #counter-hack, to give players a forum to ask anti-cheat questions.



They are still looking for knowledgeable staff, however, so if this sounds like your gig, head on over to their site or their IRC channel.

You know basically anyone with half a mind can spot a cheater? Then again, theres always those who "cry wolf" on legitimate players and get me banned.. er, get people banned rather.

For me it's always just the, "Hey let's ignore the person who is 10-1 and get mad at that person who has a 1-1 ratio!". Jerks.

10-1? LOL wow even cheaters suck these days :) the cheaters I see have 64-14 :) and then I get banned because of 24-11 LOL wow people have no brains anymore!

64-14 is impressive for cheaters? I don't see it as difficult to achieve a 64-5 ratio without cheats, much less score a 64-14 ratio with cheats! Ratio means nothing as far as hacking goes. I hate people like you who join a game, see a 12-0 ratio and immedietly proclaim someone a hacker without even seeing them play. As far as ratio goes, if you have the right skills, and know how public servers work, it's simple to rack up a ton of kills because the people that play the "24/7 DUST ONLY!!!11" servers are extremely predictable, and 95% of them aren't skilled.

Matches are more predictable then pubs, at least on a map with more then 1 - oh I'm sorry 2 - ways to go.

cheats taht exist in 1 fps exist in every other fps pretty much (aimbot / wallhack that sort of thing). Same with rts games.. well.. you get the point.. and as for the "there's almost no cheating in sc or d2".. i don't think he's played those games lately
