Even though its a beta, anyone and everyone can sign up for a new Steam 2.0 account when 1.6 beta is released. It is not being limited only to current Steam users, as they all have to sign up for new accounts as well. So for all intents and purposes everyone that plays CS can be playing this beta.

i'm home schooled... but i could give a shits less about playing 1.6 as 1.4 beta was nothing great to behold and that devil STEAM bewitched my system and made it do crazy things like a) slowdown, b) have 1.5 trillion steam icons for all 5.6 billion mods for HL and c) just sucking in general on my old p3-600. i care not to let it posses my athlon now! i command the, be gone!!!!

Lord destros is releasing H4xzor-strike beta-12.5 on Thursday! have no pheer nubs! i will have my l337 nine person server running 1.6 as quickly as possible: my server elves will be installing it remotely whist i count the minutes until i can flee my banal suburban desk job. i use this h4xzor program called VNC. with it u can remote control a computer through it's desktop. using VNC and voice-chat on hot-mail is a great way to talk/walk some one through a installation and it freaks you out to see the mouse pointer moving by itself.
