CS 1.6 is not out yet, http://steampowered.com/ will announce it, so i encourage strongly that if your someone who is downloading the "Steam v2.0" file to stop it because like what Brutal Sponge said its almost likely (like 90% chance) a virus.
Check out the Steam site to make sure you get the right file when Steam v2.0 goes live.

what rizzuh meant was thats the standard for when the patches/downloads come out provided by Steam, it does'nt mean that Steam v2.0 comes out anywhere between those hours, it is just an estimate.

If i am correct here is an external link from a dutch site that has the steam 2.0 on their server.

the file is 4.01 megs so it is the one.
i guarantee that it is not a virus couse i installed it on my computer and ran it (i just couldnt get connected to the steam server).

It worked... I installed it but I get all kinds of errors. Winsocks is one... STEAM NETWORK not up another, connection reset by PEER a third. WTF?Comment
