you come up with awesome map names narby lol, so you naming it wouldn't have been such a bad thing. However there was some cool names presented by some of the community here at csnation. foresaken, relapse, armory (at least thats what I am told :-P) comrade makes you think of russian, yes, cold war, possibly, so it isnt the WORSE choice or anything, but just seems like it doesnt do t he map justice. o well, I dont really care about the name as long as it is a good map, and from what I have heard, it is very intense. the map contest was a good thing dont get me wrong though, I enjoyed it, but the map is most important.

To be totally sure that no "n00b" steals it in future competitions, or, if I decided to make my own map. OK, it can still end up "wrong", so that someone uses it anyway, but I don't want to take the risk.

Just take a look at the SOTD. I've seen, quite often, how Galen and the crew complain about people claiming they did a model, when in fact, the author is (for example) SixShooter. It may not be such a big deal, but I hate when others steal my ideas.

Umm, actually I did read the description, and it was an old Soviet weapons facility, and the definitoin of an armory is a weapons facility, so it DOES make sense Spazm :P

ALSO: If this presents itself again, I think they should choose the top 5 maps and have a community vote on the name, that would prevent this unhappiness with the name. just a thought, to late for that I guess
