Steam 2.0 BETA Delayed

Maybe they should done this other way:



1) Release Steam 2.0 w/"old" CS 1.5 and make ppl re-register on new system

2) Days later release new TFC beta via steam

3) Days (or weeks) later release new CS 1.6 beta



Then the impact of thousands and thousands of ppl triying to register simultaneously should be nerfed.

guys, just double click a server, and wait about 3 minutes. if a window pops up stating some odd error, close it, and try another server..eventually CS will open, and it will try to connect to the server you double clicked. but since they arent allowing people to play together yet, you cant connect to other servers. you can, however, have a jolly good time playing by yourself and checking out all the new shtuff

Do you really have to re-register, or just log in with your old email and password from steam v1

If Steam/Valve couldn't handle the leaked version trying to contect then how in the hell would they have coped with EVERYONE at the same downloading,installing and trying tot use steam?

i installed steam 2.0.....but when i double click the icon...it tells me that steam isnt aceesible or my connection is down.... ;(

He's right I just played (alone) checked out the new stuff (riot shield, gas nade etc) and checked out the new aztec, it all is fun but still cant wait for steam to re-release the beta again so everyone can have fun and test out the shit on others ppl playing, Hope its soon! untill then ill just leave the steam client open and check back here for an update.

I missed the time that I can download the new CS beta files from the websites, not from Steam. At least it gave us 1kbs no matter how many people wanted to download it at the same time...



VALVe needs to fix steam leaking from their own valves. -.-)p

Right click on the icon in your task bar then goto games and pick CS

Only 7min left on mine!!!!
