They were planning on stress-testing the whole Steam system with this release, (That's why only broadband users can attempt to make it work right now.) wouldn't it make sense that they would be ready for WHAT THEY PLANNED ON DOING! gg vALVE on screwing over your previously loyal cs community. why do you want steam any way?? you still wont be able to play.. ive had steam 2.0 and gone through the whole d/l process of cs etc and you still cant play anything..the only thing i can do is make a server with just me and run around .. whipty f#$#$ doo!

well, getting steam allows you to d/l the main CS update, so when they finally let it work, it will be 1 less person that has to clog up bandwidth for a second time.
