The models and skins look ok, but not much better then a good pack for CS. I don't like the guerilla warrior though, looks like my grandpa with colored haired. The guns are god awfully pitiful and NEED to be redone. They are garbage that is easily beat by current CS models and skins.

Valve isn't owned by anyone, they are independent. Sierra, the publisher of Valve's games (and CS: CZ), is owned by Vivendi.
There are rumors that Microsoft has bought Vivendi's games division which includes Blizzard and Sierra, etc. I doubt these rumors are true, but who knows?

Yeh but this is actually a web site for a computer games mag that's been going for 20 years called Computer and Video Games. All the content is taken directly from the magazine, although this article is actually from the PC Zone mag and not CVG as their websites have merged into one.

As suggested before, Ritual are using the original Half-Life MP5 as a placeholder for the CS weapons.
