i don't think VALVe will post anything on TF2 while they are probably working 24/7 to release the final and official versions of STEAM and counter-strike...

the biggest issue with 1.6 now is how when you are dead, seeing the top right corner (the kills) is difficult due to the letterbox look and how dark the top and bottom are. also, if you are watching someone first person, and they happen to be sniping, you cant see the names in the top right, or any of the chat. this will be fixed, but doesnt seem to be in this update. another small issue is that steam starts up on reboot unless you hack your reg.

i know that this is what steam is supposed to be all about, and people have been ripping it for a while now since its inauspicious "release", but doesnt it seem like the idea actually works, and that they can update whatever they want, whenever they want? once everyone has steam, theyll be able to change/fix a map, gun...anything. or put in/take out a map, gun...anything. i dont know whether to think that big brother is watching closer, or if this is just the next stage of the cs gods, patronizing its short attention spanned players (including myself) who need instant gratification? i suppose that it doesnt really bother me one way or the other, really. =j

i have a problem everytime iam trying to get in to a server i get a error msg:

this game is unavailable right now try again later !



can any one help me with one ??????????

if u get that problem when trying to open cs, do what i do..



open the server browser directly on your desktop and connect to a server from there.. it always works (for me atleast)

What do you mean opening the server browser ?

you mean the list of server that steam give you when you go in to steam-->server you mean go there ? , well this is the only way i know to get in ?

did anyone notice the hand models for the knife weren't updated.. also, whenever I press the "last weapon used" key, the weapons appear left handed for a fraction of a second.. its abt distracting..

when will they fix the right hand models. i want my guns to look realistic. everything is on the wrong side, except for the two bullpups p90 and m249.



i wont use left hand cause then the players will still be right handed and if i use shield i would have to block with my gun when in fire mode.

if you guys are amazingly desperate for the beta, use kazaa lite. the file size is about 4000 kb and is simply a launcher for 2.0. its kind of hard to find though. took me about 5 minutes :) It was well worth it though, since i now am an officially 'leaked' beta tester :) Hoo-Ray. Also, new smoke nades work great on my brand new 2.66p4 and g4mx so i dont know whats up with ur guys's machines. although i admit the mx isnt that good... hmmmph.
