mySQL is a platform independent open source database application. That nasty virus was for Microsoft's SQL. Note the difference. It's kinda like the difference between Windows and Linux. And this server is runing on a *nix OS, so I can be save in assuming that it is using mySQL. Whether or not the higher-up servers were involved, I don't know.



Also, are you really dry on poll topics that you need to have one on BETA and beta? Seriously? (It's BETA!)

I won't go into details about the attack, besides to say that it has nothing to do with the MSSQL worm and was specifically targetted at CS-Nation.

My site was having problems all day. All the mysql stuff, most of the site has something to do with mysql. It wouldn't load up at all but I go through sometimes but nothing would load . If that makes enough to sense to anyone.
