CS 1.6 BETA Update 01.31.03

ive posted in the steam forums about it, and i know that the new hand/glove skins have been discussed here, but why does planting the bomb in 1.6 look feminine now? could he point his finger any higher or more flightily before starting to set the bomb? anyone else weirded out by this? =j

Just remember that those that buy CZ will have brand spanking new player/weapon models and effects for CS 1.7



If ya don't like the graphics for 1.6 final version it may be a good idea to get CZ just to update yer graphics.

i hope they won't include those !damn! 3 frags for...you know what....it would be a hell on public servers and players stats won't equal to his skill.this is the biggest piece of......i've ever seen

Again someone whos missed the point completely...i totaly disagree, people are too concerned about their god damn scores and not about the point of the game, to beat the other side. if this consists of planting a bomb, so be it, it takes the emphasis off not being a team player, and puts in on actually contributing to your team, maybe now people now who are point hungry will plant the bomb and help their team out by giving them points in order to actually be a able to buy a rifle, this was an excellent idea and its peole like you who are the reasons why some serevers are just not any fun to play on...remember its a fuckin game...just play it to have fun and dont whine like a litle schoolgirl, about how many kills you have...damn

Yup, I agree with #79..



The 3 frags for planting (and making sure it goes off) and defusing the bomb is a good method to get people to play the game a bit like it's meant to be played on public servers.. Nobody can deny that by far the most public server players play for their score on the scoreboard, and now they will always try to do their bit (if they have the bomb as T or when they are CT), since there is no easier way to get 3 frags that fast.. Infact I have requested some sort of feature to reward people to follow the team objectives on public servers for a long time, and I am happy to see it finally implemented.. I hope they won't take it out again..



I also think stats programs will be adjusted to this new feature, so don't worry about your holy stats..

Okay, I'll admit it, I am getting a bit annoyed with the new buy menu setup. Having the same weapon under 2 different numbers depending on whether you're a T or CT is really damn confusing, and I've been buying a lot of weapons I didn't want on accident.



And yeah, they unfortunately did not fix the shield penetration bugs as they had claimed, so hopefully they'll figure out what's going wrong, and get that patched up shortly.



The beta test is still fun, though. :)

Yeah, different buying menus is really confusing if your used to using the "old" menus for almost 4 years now.. Thankgod we can use buying scripts again in the final release..



P.s. offcourse we will get used to the new buying menus eventually, but I don't understand why they had to be changed anyway..

I also do not understand why the buy menus had to be changed so much. It's not exactly a big deal, but it is one of those minor annoyances that keeps frustrating me when I unconciously drum out b46b13b82b84b83,,.....
