shockwave vs The Speakeasy Offensive -- Recent roster activity for Shoackwave has seen them lose two notable players in Jin and dama. Shockwave will most likely come out Monday night with a new look vs a dedicated TSO team looking to improve its disappointing record. Look for TSO to take ShockWave in this one, albeit a close match. TSO -over- shockwave :: 14-10
Hicks With Sticks vs frag university -- [hs] has had some hard losses of late 21-3 vs e7 and a 19-5 by TAU. However, If [hs] comes out with the same ferocity that it showed vs Pinnacle and e7(on prodigy), it could be a tough night for FragU. FU has had some disappointing loses to the upper tier CAL-i teams (19-5 vs GX and 20-4 vs WeW.) This one could go either way really, but I'm going to have to give this one to [hs]. Texas Area Untouchables vs High-Tech Performance -- This could be an interesting match. A battle of two inconsistent teams, looking to get back on a winning streak. TAU comes into this match with the skill and experience and HTP comes in looking for that big win. Look for it to be a close match with TAU taking the edge. TAU -over- htp| :: 14-10
TEAM STOMPING GROUNDS vs Ascension -- TSG is a team you don't hear much from, but they continue to play well each week. A* has had a good season so far winning a few by some large margins and keeping their losing matches close. TSG will come out firing on cbble and I'd imagine Chan will have an AWP kill or two to his frag count. I look for this to be another close match, but I think TSG's skill will prove the winning factor. TSG -over- |a*| :: 15-9
Domain of Pain vs WeekEnd Warriors -- DoP will certainly be trying for the upset win here but with the recent departure of destrukt from DoP, their roster seems shakey and thats not what you want going up against arguably the number 2 team in the nation. DoP will have to face WeW's new addition of ex-DoP superstar Exile and their heavy AWP oriented play. I think this will prove to be far too much for this DoP squad. WeW -over- DoP :: 18-6
Green Berets vs In for Blood -- I really don't know what to expect in this match. If GB fields 5 players, they should have enough to take ifb. However, an unprepared GB squad might have a tougher time. Look for ifb to make this one close, but I think GB will have the edge. GB -over- ifb :: 14-10
Excess vs New Expert Gamers -- Neither one of these clans are exactly comfortable where they are in the current season standings. This will be a battle of two 2-6 clans trying to get their season above .500 mark. If ExS shows up and plays like they did against e7 and TAU, it will be a long night for NEG. ExS -over- NEG :: 17-7
Eternal Silence vs Team Rival -- Rival has picked up two well known skilled players this past week in Bloodshot and faheem. This should help to stop the defending CAL-i champ's disappointing season thus far. This match should be a good show of skill with eS getting fRoD and krypto's hands on AWPs early. However, Rival will prove be too much for eS as they make an attempt to regain their former top teir Cal-I status. Rival -over- eS :: 16-8
RiotSquad vs nerve -- The revamped riotsquad vs an inconsistent nerve team. nerve proved at WCG they could hang with the big boys when it comes to LAN, yet online still remains a problem for these guys. RiotSquad still has some big name guns left even with the recent retirement of sickness and the departure of grasle. I believe rs will be able to take this one from nerve. rs -over- nerve :: 16-8
Echo 7 vs Gamers-X -- e7's first true test this season comes against a very strong Gamers-X team. e7 has lost Kaexo(Johnson) recently, which is sure to be a blow to their roster strength. On the flip-side, GX has shown what a small, dedicated roster with dedication and teamwork can do when coupled with a serious sponsor. I don't think e7 will have enough to stop the cinderella team of GX. GX -over- e7 :: 15-9
utopian vs Team c[h]ikara -- utp has forfeited 4 of its 8 matches this season and will probably be on the list of "move down teams" CAL will be looking at demoting at the end of this season. C[h]ikara on the other hand will get their first win of the season in this match, whether it be by forfeit or not. C[h]ikara -over- utp :: 18-6
zEx vs Team NetZone -- aeakos's match of the night -- This could be the true test of NetZone, who will be facing an almost unstoppable zEx team that seems to have everything going for them. Coming off a great CPL performance, zEx is one of the few undefeated teams reamining in CAL-i. So far this season Netzone has faced a relatively easy schedule. Only playing a zEx caliber opponent once, in the team of TEC, who handed NetZone a 20-4 loss. I believe zEx will be too much for the Houston locals, but nTz could suprise as always. Look for some great demos to come out of this one. zEx -over- NetZone :: 14-10
Biodegradable Heroes vs TEC -- Another great match for anyone who has been following the underrated TEC team. TEC comes into this match with the big addition of grasle to their lineup. The grasle/da_bears combination of old D|S is back, which coupled with Elude, Gouki, and Beeks? could make an already strong TEC team that much more of a Championship contender. BIO on the other hand has some very underrated players who are striving to make this team a playoff contender. If BIO gets serious, they could put some big points on the board the last half of the season, I don't see it happening vs TEC however. TEC -over- Bio :: 16-8
Team 3D vs art of eXecution -- The best LAN team in the nation vs a solid aoX team. aoX picking up ex-TEC player Dan Moxley, is looking to solidify their run in the playoffs. However, this week definitely stands in their way vs two strong opponents in 3D and Pinnacle. Look for 3D to be better on Cbble than they were last season and look for Ksharp to have his awp going. If Miller hits his shots and Rambo kills 4 on the pistol round, aoX is going be in trouble. Look for a close match, but not that close. 3D -over- aoX :: 15-9
issues with authority vs Legends -- Legends looking to earn their second win this Invite season after being moved up and iwa looking to turn their season around and hit the .500 mark. The recent addition of Kaexo strengthens iwa's roster a bit, but I believe the LgD boys will have the momentum going off a big win over Pinnacle last week and will take a struggling iwa team. LgD -over- iwa :: 17-7
iLanGamers vs Pinnacle -- A tough iLAN team looking to improve their 3-5 record, has a difficult opponent in Pinnacle. Pinnacle a team that has been improving immensely over the season, but still dropping the occasional game to relatively weaker opponents such as their 17-7 loss to LgD last week. I look for Chan to have a 20+ frag night, making it difficult for iLAN to win the rounds necessary to defeat this emerging Pinnacle powerhouse. P~ -over- iLAN :: 15-9
