I think I'll wait for 1.6 final to be officially released before I install this wondrous script pack. It's what I did for the 1.3/1.4/1.5 changeovers. As always, thanks to the R to the z to the E for making buying an infinitely easier (and faster) experience.

This is related, its about scripting! :) i have made a bunch of buyscripts that i use but none the echoes will work anymore in 1.6B, they worked perfectly fine in 1.5. the command i am using is "developer 1;echo blahblahblah" without the quotes. give me some help on how to get the echoes to work rze?

it has to do with the HUD in cs 1.6, as you've noticed net_graph isn't visible, only because the frames are being displayed after net_graph is drawn.. sort of like putting text up.. then putting your hand over it.. you want the text on your hand, not the hand on the text :P

so is there any way to get echoes to work? my scripts are almost useless without them. that is unless i constantly check the console

i still have no idea who this RzE guy rizzuh keeps talking about is

when i try to run the keys.cfg i get a message saying couldn't exec keys.cfg.

i have they keys.cfg in my steam-cache/counter-strike/cstrike folder with my other cfg's... i can exec the others but not keys.cfg.

anyone know how to fix this?

gobd... I have to wonder what kinds of scripts you're using that require that much echo functionality. Nothing I have really needs it. I use it for my volume adjustment scripts, but it's not like I couldn't just listen to the volume level instead of watching the visual display. So yeah, feel free to mention what it is that needs the echo functionality so badly. Maybe it could be easily redesigned.

Yes. There must be some text file in the HL/CS directories describing the menue structure(s). LO_ok in there.

Can the buy menus be made into just text? I don't see that option anywhere in the config menus.
