Another VAC Update

Well, it seems that VAC production is back in full swing. Eric Smith just sent word that a new VAC module has been released. This module is designed to block a certain new cheat that has come out, and the penalties for using this cheat are harsher than if you used any other cheat. We've updated the public security modules again. These security modules

detect the latest version of OGC SE. The ban penalty for being detected

using OGC SE is greater than the ban penalties for other cheats.



Your Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat servers should update themselves

automatically. Let me know if you have any problems with these security

modules and we'll look into them right away.

gg Valve, I hope this VAC stuff cuts the cheats thin, I see too many on a daily basis...

I rarely see an obvious cheater. I haven't seen a really obvious one for about a month now and I play a couple hours a night. I think most of them play on servers with the 1.3 jumping plugin, because the OGC bunny hop script works on those servers. Its funny seeing someone bunny hopping around at 500mph while swinging their knife and looking around (obviously a script is doing the work for em).

Where's the dirty tabloid reporting? Where's the "unnamed sources told us that the new cheat [does whatever] by [method]."?



What I imagine was that they found a cheat and it was really easy to detect with little to know chance of a false positive, so they are laying it out hard on that one.



Although that's just my bored speculation.

ogcse was an opengl cheat, if they can start blocking all opengl cheats that will mean teh end of cheating!

You never know who cheats, they don't all 'act like cheaters'.

My bro uses OGC. People playing in servers he plays uses the wallhack. Damned S'porean servers... It's been going on for around 2 months and my bro still has not even get caught!



And yeah... probably I had also seen cheaters in BETA 1.6.

Dude, that's when you go on his pc or login, download some detectable cheats, and go on some random VAC server to get the asshole banned.
