    Barricade Suspended

Earlier today, Barricade, W.E.W's captain, was suspended because of a deragatory comment directed toward the CPL commissioner, Frank Nuccio. Barricade's suspension will be for the duration of two matches, starting this Thursday. Here is the announcement from the CAL website:[break="Click through for press release"]
Christian Pruss, captain of the Weekend Warriors was suspended from CAL today due to his remarks made in a public forum directed towards CPL commissioner, Frank Nuccio. His suspension will last two matches and will also apply to any other team he may be affiliated with in a different division within CAL.

      IT WASN'T A DERAGATORY COMMENT.

Well, at least by my standards, and I don't know, MOST OF AMERICA'S.

Gaill.arD, check GotFrag for the comment, and other tidbits.

Suspension for a comment, eh? On a internet forum?

GotFrag should check http://bookings.caleague.com to clarify on match times. Frank comes up with times out of his ass sometimes and posts them on Caleague.com, most of the time they aren't right.
I don't really see how that is that gid of a deal... but it is kind of funny, so meh.

bleh, hardly an offensive comment and certainly not deserving of a punishment.

If CAL can't take criticism, they shouldn't be a running a league. First ammendment rights to the max.

Wow such maturity. I remember why I read GotFrag over CSNation now.

That was in regards to the comments, btw.

Gearge over reacted by a long shot, all barricade said was that he wasnt clueless and that it isnt his fault and he got banned for 2 weeks because of it, wow... What George did is exactly like admin abuse on a server.

Not like this is anything new for the CAL. They have the "best" admins... that seem to have some sort of problem taking critism. But, oh, that's right... The CAL is the perfect league... :/
