Steam Updated 2/20

Now this is the type of patching I love to see. Erik Johnson released a little tidbit about Steam updating to platform.dll version 6. Here's the whole release.

We've released a small update to Steam today. This will address a bug related to the debugging information we were generating with the release on 2/20.



If you shut down Steam and restart you will receive this update automatically.



If anyone runs into a crash in Steam, please check your Steam install directory for .mdmp files and e-mail them to me at erik@valvesoftware.com.

Is it possible that I see the official release in the near future? Maybe just wishful thinking.

Every time there's an update, CS freezes for me, then I have to restart it; then I start downloading the update, for whatever reason.

In the last version of Steam, I had trouble changing the VGUI menu to the text based one in the Advanced Options. Will this be addressed in 6? Or if not, does anyone know the new command line in the console to change this switch? Right now its permanently stuck on the picture style VGUI menu which I HATE.

A nice model. I prefer the camo ammo box to the black box. Guess its just cause am used to it from when I used to play Firearms like mad.
