Eric has given word via the HLDS mailing list that there is a new beta version of the Linux Half-Life Server that they'd like to test. This is an open beta test, so if you run a linux server and are interested, click through for all the info.

We have a beta version of the Linux Half-Life Server we'd like to begin testing. This version should fix the problems some servers have been experiencing when we update the security modules. We haven't heard about any problems with Win32 servers after the security modules are updated. The problems seem to only be happening on Linux servers.Thanks for the heads up, Disk2.

All you need to do is download the file and replace your old one. It's
always a good idea to back-up your old version first. Clients using
1.1.1.0/1.0.0.5 should not have any problems connecting to your servers.
