Maybe it had to with CSR bashing Gamesnet for not hosting the IRC channel.. They originally didn't allow radio channels on the network, so bah..

Now that I think about it, there may have been another reason. Sure Narby may not particularly care for CSR, but he's also busy with other projects.. Perhaps he will reply here with the answer. I'm guessing it's just a deep-rooted hatred of CSR though

You obviously don't know what you are talking about leetstev0. [CSR] is a guild not a clan, so you will never play the guys you hear on the radio. I hosted a shoutcast relay for them yesterday and had 20 people on all the time so at least some people appreciate the show, unlike you. What have you done for the community except whining about other peoples work. It's easier to throw rocks than to build something, so get a life man...do something for the community instead.

Yeah, uh.... What was it they were doing for the community again? Last time i heard, they were doing this for their own kicks. If they're trying to provide an actual service for the CS community as a whole, they've hidden that fact quite adeptly under a few hundred collective hours of plugs and shout-outs.

It still appears that many people don't listen to the show, many of their ideas got integrated into CS somehow after they've talked about them on the show. They have good anti-cheat ideas too. They work (not sure they still do) for an anti-virus company so they should have some good ideas. It's like they say 50 percent don't like their show 50 percent do, but at least they are doing something. What am I doing? Well...not much...As I have to, well I don't have to but I do defend the people I consider good guys of the community (half-life and mod community).

I'm also working on a Sven Co-op map. Maybe I'll make a CS map...buuut I guess it wouldn't be appreciated and played by many people. I've seen it happen over and over again.

Aimless drivel followed up by a completely unrelated plug that no one fucking cares about even AFTER you say it... You really MUST be a CSR fan. 1. I'm not a fan. I just like listening to the show, and since I'm Swedish it might improve my english a bit.



2. Ah the constant whining of people who have nothing else to do. Try to be a bit more positive. It's about having fun ain't it without cheaters and whiners isn't it?



3. The plug was related to both CS/HL so it wasn't pointless. I would never call in because I don't feel like. When I'm talking about the community I'm talking about the entire Half-Life community which is quite nice in a few places. It's your comment that was pointless since it generated this reply.



Of course everyone has the right to say what they want. It would be nice if people stop making fun of other people when they do not know what they are talking about.



Prove me wrong and I'll not write any more comments on this topic.

2. It's also about making sense and making more than the typical "You're not a sheep! YOU BAD!" quips. Give it a shot sometime.



3. I openly challenge anyone here to give compelling evidence that the plug had absolutely ANYTHING AT ALL to do with anything that was said. If there was any semblance of a segue, i obviously didn't see it. Maybe it was hidden in some cute little pi at the corner of the page.
