What's happened in CAL-i recently?
- tau is no longer dead, after quite a dramatic exit. i don't think this is cal-i news; a new cpl rule posted on 9/4 states that if your team breaks up, "then all cpl and cal records are thrown out the window. if your team was a cal invite team then your newly formed team must play one full season in the intermediate or main division." but maybe it's season 7 cal-i news.
- 1st~ has added three of the doctors' starters to their line-up. the doctors, formerly a cs clan, is now one of the best rtcw clans in the world.
- two new clans were moved up to cal-i. in for blood (ifb) and select-few (sf) will have much to prove in the new cal-i season. or maybe not, considering many of the clans currently in cal-i have little cal-i experience.
- mp_freezetime has been increased to 10 seconds, double the previous time. "this will give teams five more seconds to regroup mentally and offer suggestions for the next rounds strategy," said frank nuccio. "cal will be adopting this rule immediately."
