    Minnesota LAN

Yet another LAN. However, this one looks to be friggin' huge, with enough space for upwards of 150 people. It's going to take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center on March 1st. Registration is only $20 prepaid and $25 at the door. The first place team will be taking home somewhere around $250, but they're giving away some awesome door prizes too. This event, named MNLAN 4, will be sure to have excellent competition and plenty of frags. You can view some pictures of MNLAN 3 here. So, if you're in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, check this LAN out.

Thanks to Fildo for the heads up.

You should have called this "MinneLAN", and then gone on to explain how, despite the misleading name, this LAN is "friggin' huge".

Thanks to Fildo for the heads up.

Wow, those Minne and Mini-Soda jokes are all so original, and I've never heard them before, being a Minnesotan. Wish I would have known about this LAN sooner. No thanks to fildo for the late heads up.

I went to Minnesota because I have family there and they had me saying "pop" and "eh" back home for a good three weeks. Damn them!

                      fildo you're such a slacker.

I'm from Minnesota and I've known about this for a few weeks (#mngamers) but I don't think I am going to go. I would prob go if I had a friend to go with me, it would be funner than way, but none of my friends are gamers too much, and to be honest, with work and school, neither am I anymore.

While I don't quite understand the slacker part, I do admit to calling pop "pop" instead of soda. Seems like the right thing to do. Eh is said in Canada, and possibly by some canadian immigrants. Never have said eh Fargo style in my entire life, nor heard anyone say it in Minnesota.

                              I say "pop".

I used to say soda when I lived in Cali, but when I moved to Oregon, and then Minn, they both call it pop, that's what I'm used to. My parents still call it soda though. Calling it soda is alright, but "soda-pop" is evil! D:
