    New CZ Model Shots

Ten new screenshots featuring Ritual's work on the player models for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero have now been posted over at Gamespot. Ritual's player models definitely look nice. Here are two of their before-and-after pictures (Update: the second image link now works):

Those two new T models were posted on Gamespot about fifteen minutes after I posted this news item, but at least one of them looks familiar(old) to me.

new SAS model sucks. SAS has always remined me of being a cool ninja d00d who walks around in his blue pajamas and generally cleans house. This guy looks like a ground grunt with a gask mask.

                      (who cares about realism damnit)

PS: yea i know my description sounds like the GIGN, I am talking about the current 1.x model SAS though with the gas mask. I just think this new one doesn't make any since. Why is he wearing a gas mask? Goose's model is based off the SAS team from the 1980 assault on that embassy hostage situation in England, they were dressed head to toe in blue/black with gas mask to make them look intimidating. This ritual SAS model looks like the current ground troops, but with a gas mask. Just seems out of place and not really based on the original counter-terrorist version of the SAS.

                        "REALISM"...???...eh..WHAT ?

The current SAS is much more like the real deal.

Cant these guys (Ritual)do their homework?

P.S. YEAH ! ...that stuff MIKEJ just edited in....less military and more police like...ya know?...SWAT Style...ya dig.

Yes, the SAS constantly wear gas masks and pure black suits everywhere they go. They are perfectly accurate.
