Counter-Life BETA 5 has been released for download! What's Counter-Life? Well, it combines Counter-Strike's fun multiplayer with the award winning Half-Life singleplayer. For this reason, you must have Half-Life retail (with CS mod) installed; it's not compatible with CS retail.

You know, I loved this mod back in the day when I liked playing the HL single player. Those days are over

Regardless, I downloaded it and am planning on playing it just for kicks!



I only wish it didn't take up so much room on my HD. The previous version copied everything from the /cstrike directory, even crap it didn't need/use.

I remember reading about this on CSnation like 2 years ago. I downloaded it and played it and see no reason why the development cycle has continued this long for a single player addon that doesn't do anything but add new weapons. Oh and there is something strange about the fact that it now has multiplayer.

Counter-Strike community is kind of dry at the moment aside from league play. There hasn't been any significant changes to the game since 1.4, via valve or third party (ie OGC) so there really isn't much going on. It's kind of boring :/

Well, seeing as I got false-positive'd today with the CS1.6 beta, I guess I have 2 days to try this out. :-\



I always thought HL sp done in co-op humans vs. aliens would be cool, provided there was a "catchup" system and a lot of extra aliens. Beats me how that relates to what they're doing with CL right now, but the original mod was fun, imho.

nighthawk, play Sven-Coop, you can play through the HL SP with other people, well main parts of it. although its kinda annoying when youre fighting aliens and then the dood who is the homer simpson model runs in and youre like, this scene is ruined...

I've downloaded this twice since it originally came out and both times i never got it working. Is it the program or am I just stupid?

they also need the condition zero info, it doesnt talk about ritual at all, still has gearbox as developer team

Ok Im starting to get pissed off,



I would like to play this game but im having no luck. I have the cs retail version so i was going to download HL and the CS Mod full versions but I can only find HL patches I waited 2 hrs for what I thought was the full version but it wasn't. And i was stupid enough to delete my cs 1.5 files. Does anyone know how I can get the full version of HL.
