• cs map central has released its map installer that allows you to download maps over the internet through a simple little program that installed everything for you in a snap. the site requires free registration to download the program.

It also downloads them from their database, meaning you can search and grab the map.

yes, it is very much like the onion, but focussed on gaming. and yes, this is their first issue, so bear with them. they're currently looking for talented writers, so throwing out an issue and getting publicity was a good way to start.

Map downloader looks interesting, I'll have to download it. I've used similar stuff for Tribes 2 and such... nice to be able to browse and download in a nice interface (assuming this indeed does have a nice interface, heh).

Kasparov in the last match was almost a broken man, in disbelief he watched all of his moves predicted and countered. He fought hard enough to earn a tie for the match and the entire series.

When asked for comment Kasparov only replied "omg hax."

I found that pretty damn funny.
