That wacky Thorin, from Gamers.nu, had the chance to sit down with Holden, an international superstar. The interview talks about Holden's career, Forsaken's merger with Riot Squad, and a ton of other stuff. Seriously, this is quite a long interview. Here's a bit that caught my eye about the somewhat recent merger:
Netzone on it's own was slowly building support as a result of it's online play, bad CPL showing aside. How suprised were you when you were offered the merger with Riotsquad whose main starter you seem to be playing, icesalmon, has had some pretty good performances recently?This i'view is quite interesting. So, if you're interested, get the full four course meal here. Also, I've told you at least a dozen times that Gamers.nu requires you to be a registered member, but that it's free and easy. So basically I'm not going to tell you again. Ever.
[rs]-holden: We have been really good friends with Riotsquad for a long time and we have had a rivalry at Texas lans for a long time now. Riotsquad's roster began to fall apart and they were looking to go back to a more localized roster and contacted us. We were looking to pick up sickness or icesalmon, but instead they came up with the option of a merge. It took us a long time to decide on, because we had an established sponsor in NetZone and a pretty solid record in CAL. When the option came along though, we took it and the results have been varied so far. It has been frustrating to develop our teamwork, but hopefully everyone will persevere and work together to take this team to the top. We do have an advantage over other clans, which is the ability to LAN together at Texas Lans.
