the only purpose of these updates is to disable exploits many people use to get CSS for free (not me, i just hang in their forums).

I think that was the point of steam, they could release updates and see how the update did as far as the community feels. If there was a bug, they could fix it up in a day or 2. So there isn't a point to beta testing steam updates.
Ppl rely on valve, use their server browser and one day they see their favorites are all deleted and also they can't join a server with that software for 2 days. So lets face it; it's a mistake that a company like Valve, having maybe more than a hundred thousand users on steam, should not make.Comment
