Team 3D Withdraws From Playoffs

See that post down the page about 3D appearing on TechTV's The Screen Savers? As a result they'll be missing their playoff match, and thus have decided to withdraw from CAL-invite playoffs. Here's the release from their website:

This Thursday, March 6th, Team 3D will be appearing on Tech TV's 'The Screen Savers.' More info can be found here and to register for a chance to play along side Team 3D (moto, kane, Ksharp, Bullseye, and Rambo) sign up at here.



As a result, we are sad to announce that we are going to have to withdraw from the CAL playoffs due to insufficient time to properly prepare for a re-scheduled match.

My take on this? 3D already has a CAL-i title under their belt and in the scope of things online play really doesn't matter when compared to LAN play. We'll see if they work out some way to play their match at another time, but given their release it doesn't look like it.



Update: 3D has returned to the playoffs.

Due to some uncertainty in our travel plans we previously thought that we would not be able to compete in the CAL playoffs. However, thanks to CAL's flexibility, they have allowed us to play our playoff match on Sunday at 8:30 cst. We look forward to competing in the playoffs and making a run for yet another CAL-invite championship. Be sure to tune into Tech TV and idle in #team3d to support us on Sunday in the second round of the CAL-i playoffs

Acer, your comments always have a sense of retardedness in them. How is zEx the next 3D? They've been a team long before 3D was even formed and they've always done well online. They usually placed in the top 5 american teams at the CPL and always gave 3D a challenge. Everything you say is "omg 3D *ejaculates*" everything apparently has to match 3D's performance as a team and EVERYTHING YOU SAY HAS 3D IN IT. The news can be about general esports and you guessed it, what does your comment include "oh i think 3D is the best, i dream about 3D, I can't stop saying 3D. 3D will you come over my house for cookies and milk" DEAR GOD MAKE IT STOP. And seeing as how zEx is 15 - 0, i wont be shocked if you keep trying to tell us how you know so much about esports and know what team will win every event. In fact, you jump on a bandwagon and assume the team with the best record in cal-i will take the money home. Your assumptions are not original and do not have a base to them. Online play means jack shit on lan. Perhaps the 15 - 0 record doesn't convey that messege very well.
