[rs] lost their first match to TAU in overtime at TANGO, but still won the tourney is how I heard it. Since it was double elimination and they took out all the local clans 13-0 or close, they could've easily taken the whole thing.
I was there all day and didn't see TAU, but [rs] actually came out and talked. I was in a match myself in the losers bracket when the championship was going on, so I didn't get to watch.Comment

s0phiZtry's Corner:
Top 5 Performances of the Night:
1. zEx (12-1-0): zEx has been completely dominating every clan thus far in the season with huge wins over 3D/DoP/rs. The only blemish on their record came from tec who beat them 13-11 on de_train. Since adding Alex Doubov "Revenge" to their roster they have been looking better then ever, beating 3D 15-9 and DoP today 16-8. zEx is a great clan and I wouldn't be surprised if they make finals this season. Thursday they play RiotSquad which will be a great match.
2. rs (7-5-1): To my knowledge RiotSquad has only lost 2 times since their reformation, just the other day they lost TANGO Lan in OT to TAU, and Thursday they lost their week 6.2 match to tec 11-13. aoX was 10-1-1 runner up to zEx by 1 tie, now this loss puts them behind a hefty amount with 3 games to go. If aoX gets an easier schedule then zEx in week 8, just maybe ( a huge maybe ) they could clinch the division title, Thursdays match up of zEx/rs will decide whether or not this will happen. Right now I believe Riot-Squad is one of the top 4 teams in the U.S. they are pretty low in the rankings for CALi so that might hurt them early off but, either way they will make the semi-finals.
3. tec (10-3-0): tec is starting to prove themselves everyday as one of the top U.S. teams, a clan that just 5 weeks ago were 0-2 to start of the season, then they merged with CAL-im clan modv. And just this week tec added a well proven LAN player, David Funk, to their roster which will help them out greatly come CPL. With great wins thus far over zEx/sf/IPX/TSO, and just recently their huge upset over the newly formed Riot-Squad. Tonight they bumped NEG down a spot, they were tied with for 2nd in the Theta division. Rival has 2 wins over tec's head for the title, I dont think tec will be able to close the gap but, watch out for tec come post season where I predict they can make the semi-finals maybe even the finals.
4. utp (6-6-1): Just around the cut off line for playoffs, with 3 matches to go can utp make it? Somebody poured a bucket of water on iwa's fire, and i dont think they have any more matches in the bag for this season, this is loss number 3 in the past 4 games. iwa who is right around the cut off line for playoffs too but, the way they are playing now they probably wont make playoffs. utp plays Pinnacle next week who are very close in rankings with them. If utp can keep up the good play they might just make the cut for playoffs.
5. ExS (2-11): 11 games later they finally got their 2nd win. After their first match of the season beating TAU 13-11 i figured ExS would be on top of their game like they usually are. Today a win over eminence isn't that hard, but hey it's a win! :P and at least now they aren't in last place for CALi.
